ECSTATIC REFLECTION

TEACHING PRACTICE UPDATES Crossing the barriers created by Covid-19, teaching practice started in its full swing through online mode.  My teaching practice is done in association with Govt. HSS, Pattazhy, where I did my one week school induction program of the first semester. Meera S Nair and Arathy J B also accompanied me.  On 17th November 2020, classes were divided and provided for me by Simi teacher, who is one among the English language teachers of the school. A discussion on the topics was done with her. She added me to the Whatsapp groups of Std. 8A and Std. 9 A.  On the next day, we prepared 2 lesson plans for the classes and assessed their assignments. The Light on the Hills of eighth standard and Song of the Rain of ninth standard were taken.  On 19th November,2020, from 7pm to 8pm, a class was taken for the eighth grade. The lesson which I dealt was the story, Light on the Hills written by Lucy Clifford. It was an interactive class. A good discussion of the second part of

 We were advised to prepare 5 video lessons, as part of the internal works. It was a different experience. The classes observed through VICTERS helped a lot in the preparation of the video lessons.
