 'AMBIANCE VIRTUELLE ' - ONE WEEK INTERNATIONAL WEBINAR SERIES

                    A one-week webinar, a golden opportunity for faculty members and knowledge seekers was hosted by Mount Tabor Training College.  It was a programme enriched with fruitful interactive sessions with resource persons and faculty of international eminence- 5 out of 6 from Universities and Institutes abroad - throughout the week ( 1 August - 7th  August). 

The resource persons were :

    1. Ms. LATHA VERANANI ( Science Teacher , Fortbend ISD , Housten , USA) , an experienced teacher with fine expertise in handling online resources of teaching-learning. ( August 1, 8.15 a.m -10 am)


2. Dr. MARC ERIC REYES ( Professor , Department of Psychology , UST College of Science ,  Manila , Philippine) ,  a knowledgeable resource person who have specialization  in  LGBT psychology , Mental Health  , Suicidology and Personality 

(August 7, 9 a.m -11 am).


3.  Dr. ISHMAIL MARITHERI ( King Abdul Aziz University , Jeddah , KSA) , an interactive resource person noted much for interesting and engaging classes (August 4 , 10 a.m - 12 p.m ).


4. Dr. AJAY NAIR ( Postdoctoral Research Scientist , Columbia University, New York) having multi-dimensional familiarity with online learning circumstances as a teacher, student as well as a parent. Teaching expertise in India and abroad caters much for his sessions 

(August 6 , 8.15 a.m- 10 a.m ).


5. Mr. K.R BINULAL ( Science teacher , UAE )- an efficient teacher well versed in technology, with teaching experience in India and abroad ( August 5 , 10 a.m-12 p.m).


6. Dr. K.S SAJAN (Asst. professor ,N.S.S Training College, Ottapalam) , a resource person with efficient technological exposure and skills (August  3 , 2.30 pm - 4.30 pm)

Second Phase of Teaching Practice

  The second phase of teaching practice started from 4th February 2021.  My internship takes place at Government Higher Secondary School, Konni, which lies at the nature-blessed Konni, located at Pathanamthitta district of Kerala . A good overview of the second phase of teaching practice was given by Jijan sir, which helped me to get an overall idea of the teaching practice.   I am accompanied by two of my peer teacher-trainees, Aleena Sara Elias and Jiya Rachel Mathew. The internship period has the duration of two weeks, starting from 4 th February 2021 till 20 th of the same month. I am mentored by the veteran English language teacher of the school, Rejitha. The mode of internship is through Whatsapp and Google meet.
